So today, after a stressful hour-and-twenty-minute’s drive home from my girlfriend’s house (the car overheated numerous times and I had to take a couple long detours), I walked in the door and began to vent about the trip. I was taken aback, mid-vent, at the site of a large box leaning against the wall in the dining room.
The guitar I’ve long awaited for (over an agonizing month) has finally arrived!! I’ve named him Bandersnatch after a beast from the poem Jabberwocky, by Lewis Carroll (also the author of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland). It’s an acoustic-electric Martin DCX1E, and it will be seeing much use from myself for, hopefully, quite a number of years.
Rach on!
